Most small businesses are losing hours to repetitive work that AI can handle. Most AI training doesn't stick — it's too technical, too generic, or taught by people who've never run a company. Plain Terms is different: on-site, hands-on, built around your specific team and workflows.
You've heard about AI. Maybe you've tried ChatGPT. Maybe your team has too — in ten different directions, without any clear outcome. The problem isn't that AI doesn't work. It's that nobody has sat down with your business specifically and figured out where it actually helps, what it costs, and how to make it stick with the people who actually do the work.
We spend 2–4 hours on-site with you and your team. We walk your workflows, map your current tools, and identify where AI can actually help — not in theory, but in your specific operation.
Within 48 hours, you get a 2-page PDF. Page one: what we found. Page two: what we recommend and what it costs. No fluff, no 30-slide deck. Two pages because that's how long it should take to tell you the truth.
If you want to go further, we offer team training workshops and ongoing advisory. Both are scoped and priced after the diagnostic — because we don't recommend things we haven't looked at first.
Plain Terms was started by Sam Evans, a Denver-based marketing strategist and AI practitioner with a master's in economics.
Sam didn't learn AI in a classroom. He deployed it inside a real company — building automated workflows, training non-technical teams, and figuring out what actually sticks versus what sounds good in a webinar. He knows what breaks, what gets ignored, and what earns trust with people who actually do the work.
Most AI consultants can do one of two things: talk strategy with the owner, or show the team how to use a tool. Plain Terms does both — because a strategy nobody can execute isn't a strategy.

Every engagement starts the same way: on-site, in your business, with your team. Not a phone call. Not a questionnaire. A real working session where we figure out exactly where AI can help you and what it would take to make it happen.
You leave with a written plan. A real price. And a clear answer to the question every owner is asking: Is this actually worth it for a business like mine?
